As a driver of a sanitation truck the front loader it’s called that I drove over 28 years. Theres one thing I do Respect and appreciate is a great mechanic on brake downs on the road you need to get back on the road depending on the brake down the mechanic will improvise something so you can finish your route or to get it to the yard so don’t need a two truck expenses or able to fix it to finish the route and fix it right once it’s done for the day. These guys would make a fortune in the states doing mechanic work on trucks . Especially on sanitation trucks these guys don’t worry about the dirt on a truck to stop them from working on any truck.

If the maintenance was done every five thousand kilometres the kingpins would last over five thousand kilometres !!!! That truck has been badly neglected they have lost more money in down time and repair than it would cost to maintain I own trucks and maintenance is done on time they don't wear out like that even on bad dirt roads in Australia outback grease is cheaper than repairs
