Does anyone know the name of the process by which plants adjust to be able to accommodate more light over a long period of time? For example, Monstera Deliciosa can be seen growing in full Hawaiian sun, but can burn from a couple hours of Midwestern direct sun through a window. They can be acclimated to more intense light slowly, but im curious by what mechanism this is possible. Thank you!
@flowboyz77082 жыл бұрын
Yeah. You should be able to look at the chlorophyll types. There are 4 types of chlorophyll including : a,b,c,d. Different plants got different chlorophyll types which help them to adjust to different variations of sunlight and UV rays.

Hi.. thanks very much very informitive. Im in the cannabis industry in South Africa. I know cannabis needs Ethylene in the flower stage. In the vid says farmers spray it on their crops. If i spray this on cannabis in the flower stage will this speed up the flower period and how do the farmers apply it. Is Ehtylene in a certain product or how can we produce this to use on the plants?

If only plants could grow fast enough to outstrip human desertification. Hmm what uses can we find for Japanese knot weed. Im not talking about smoking it to the pot heads out there, im talking building materials that are hardy produce oxygen & are extremely renewable, its a shame invasive species are hard work to harness & destroy property. (invasion of the triffids?) What can we plant to save us thats as usefull as say bamboo?
@cushionofair3 жыл бұрын
Japanese knotweed is useful as a source of resvaritrol and you should look into Moringa Oleifera for re-greening the dessert its leaves and seeds are the most nutritional plant on earth and it loves to grow in the desert with minimal water!
@GOATGamerProSticks3 жыл бұрын
@cushion of air Interesting plant im about to learn about the tree of life one of its other names. Sorry thats (The miracle tree)
@cushionofair3 жыл бұрын
@@GOATGamerProSticks Yeah definitely a plant I'm looking into right now is alfalfa its roots can go down 49 feet deep to reach water and can bring and reclaim nutrients from that depth back to the surface and is extremely nutritious and high in protein .It can also be used as a super fertilizer because of its nutrients but even more so because of its growth hormone triacontanol . something that interests me is how Wilhelm Reich was re-greening the desert with his cloud buster.
@GOATGamerProSticks3 жыл бұрын
@@cushionofair Wow thats all over my head but deep roots sounds good to bind up shifting sands at least? We both know its more complicated than that once true cascade failure of desertification has washed over a city like the gobi desert? But its all information worth familiarising the world with if we still have half a chance of understanding our collective mistakes. Ive always beleived its easyer to maintain health than regain it once lost. Its like oh look there's some trees lets strip mine the forest to build our future then your left with a desert set to swallow said supposed gains, it retroactivly turns us all into landfill products. Such is Circular Logic on the Path of Least Resistance or Chaos Theory & the Butterfly Effect. Deep routed troubles in the resultant sandstorm that comences. Dark stuff. Keep up the good work. (We cant un bake a cake then put the eggs back up the chicken, or have our own cake & eat it. But other peoples portions?) The essence of survival. Is the most racist man or creature the one with the strongest survival instinct? Bigfoot was a virtuous man with a small carbon footprint lol. (Sorry i think in circular riddles lockdown did it to me, the saying goes the devil makes work for idle hands it would seem minds aswell) It begs the questions what chance did we have? Noble lies, great deceptions, great reset, order from chaos? Deep rabbit holes with dwindling carrots. Prophetic tellings, lockdown made a twisted philosopher of me searching back to the sumerians.
