I read a fanfiction story set in the aftermath of "Evil of the Daleks". A Dalek Battle Cruiser that had been on deep patrol (in a perverse Star Trek parody) returns home, (with a damaged Matter Transport so never is exposed to the Human Factor), and cleans up the mess, the Doctor left. One of the Imperial Guard, is found alive, but badly damaged, having taken a near fatal shot that would have killed the Emperor. It gets a new casing, and becomes the Supreme that turns up in "Planet of the Daleks"
