Feel like the beginning is a reference to the opening of mechwarrior 2, where you get the different speeches about Clan Wolf or Jade Falcon.

i haven't played that one unfortunately but it's great it feels like a reference to the older games.

@Martagasm Game is abandonware, and you would have to do some sorcery to get it running on a modern computer. There are plenty of guides on how to run it around here, I'm sure. One of the first games I played.

almost a bt movie 😁 i would also add some "in-game" scripted scenes as well, for example the one where the madcat kills jaiden during the trial of position

not a bad shout to be fair. this was my first, and admittedly very janky, attempt at getting the cutscenes for a game uploaded to my channel but i will deffo look to add the in game scenes to my channel at some point hopefully soon!

If my memory serves me right, Turtle Bay was meant to be left as nothing more than glassy slag via orbital bombardment. Sure, the destruction shown was vast, but if building foundations are still left standing, then it feels the Jaguars weren't "thorough" enough like they were supposed to. Do I need to remind anyone that the sheer destruction and brutality of the events on Edo sealed the fate of the Smoke Jaguars as the chosen Clan to be destroyed by the Inner Sphere? It should have been more Brutal.

in terms of the visuals moar is always better and it could have been more brutal and had more flattened as well as gutted buildings but i still got the point that the Smoke Jaguar leadership were callous and vindictive

That wasn't the factor that led to the Jaguars being chosen. The Wolves and Jade Falcons had just fought the Refusal War and were considered weak at that point. The coalition decided it needed to fight a strong opponent or they wouldn't be taken seriously. The Ghost Bears had switched their stance from Crusaders to Wardens so they were off the table since it was the Crusaders pushing for a renewed invasion & the Nova Cats were considered a non factor. That left the Smoke Jaguars by default; a strong Crusader Clan.

Well, I remember from the novel that the battle of Radstadt in whcih IlKhan Leo showers was killed was much bigger than that what we we see here.
