Putting mine together using your video. Just a general comment to those who assemble their class 1 lasers, put a magnet on the screw driver shaft and it will hold the screws so that they don't fall and scurry away from you.

Hello Roger, after watched your video about mecpow x3pro i bought it. And now thinking to buy mecpow x4 not pro version. Im doing mostly cutting 3-4mm plywood. Will it be big difference on speed while cutting on 10w vs 20w laser? Is it worth to upgrade laser?

Yes, it will be faster with a 20W. As for is it worth an upgrade, it depends on what the end use is and how much it is used.

This looks like a laser with all the added features included. Good value as well which makes me wonder if it is a good laser or a dressed up inferior laser. Do you have an opinion Roger? Cracking video as usual. Thank you for that. Keep up the good work.

I used to also have the X3, which is a class IV. It performed well with zero issues. This one also "does what it is supposed to" without any problems.

lightburn is reporting back that the door is open and its not. It keeps bleeping at me! 😆 Is there any adjustment to the lid anywhere?

There is a magnet on the lower left side of the cover, in front. It needs to contact the base to activate a hidden magnetic switch. If the magnet is missing or not aligned, it will think the door is open.

If you are referring to the camera calibration sheet, it can be downloaded from within Lightburn when setting up the camera.

I’m frustrated because I was super excited to get my laser yesterday the same model everything but my LED lights will not come on. I’ve checked everything.
