Hi Brittny! I was curious about your teaching career. Did you plan on teaching before med school or was it something that you decided to do later on? If it was planned, were you able to relieve some of your undergraduate debt by teaching, like a loan forgiveness program? If you have savings from working as a teacher, are you using them to help pay for med school (tuition, books, etc) or are you using them to live off of while in med school (like rent, food, etc)?I havent given much thought about med school debts, I've just accepted that it will be there for me to pay once I've finished med school. But I am curious as to how some people may be tackling it a little better than I have originally planned. P.S. If you feel your personal finances are too personal to discuss in a comment section on KZbin, no worries, I understand.

Do you take notes on your laptop during class, and has that proven to be the best option for you? Is it easy for you to go back and study off of your powerpoint on your computer? Love your vlogs Britney. How do you deal with taking care of your dog and med school? I have a dog and I get really busy I lock it in the cage for days and feed it but don't have time to take it out. Thinking of letting it go but I think I can do better. Any advice?

Animals should never be locked in cages for days and not taken out. You can hire a dog walker/sitter or ask family or friends to help you out. If you feel that you can't give your dog the love and attention it needs right now you might want to consider finding another loving home for him/her. Taking care of an animal is a huge responsibility especially while in med school BUT it is possible. Mercy & I go to the dog park almost every day and if I'm really busy I'll bring some work to do while she plays with her friends lol
