@azrasabiha68046 жыл бұрын
The timing of this upload couldn't be any better. I'm a final year Dental student and I did my second permanent tooth extraction. and I was so bad at it! I couldn't even finish the whole procedure, someone else took over me and did it. I already did the 1st one, which was not that bad and I felt so pumped that day! but today totally opposite happened, and I almost cried on the way home. I was feeling so low, so dumb! ughh! I just can't! but then I came to youtube and found this! this is exactly what I needed right now. America showing it so beautifully that there will be ups and downs but all you need to do is push it through. and I will. I will practice more and more and learn everyday, little by little. Thank you America. You are literally my savior for my Med school life. 💘

I really wanna know how you function and are able to stay up and retain material, without the use of drugs, AND get good grades. Because isn’t it basically impossible to function without sleep? But you do it all the time. Please do a video about this because I really need to know. It’s hard for me to stay up and study more when I’m tired. Thank you
@DemonicVeteran6 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on the person. For me since I'm an undergrad, I can survive days with only 5-6 hours of sleep. On some days, I'll only have 4-5 hours of sleep, but it depends on the schedule. I'm usually done in the afternoon. While I can survive, I'll always end up taking a long evening nap, messing up my sleep schedule, but these past two weeks, I've gotten rid of that habit. Don't follow into my footsteps though because I've had sleep paralysis throughout this past year. It's not scary since I've had it before. One in 2013 and 2016, but this past year from September 2017 I would get sleep paralysis twice a month. I only have it because of lack of sleep, which is a causing factor of sleep paralysis.
@tailorforeman70826 жыл бұрын
a lot of students do use drugs and don’t tell people. I’m not saying America specifically but in general people who aren’t sleeping and able to stay up and study are MOST likely using drugs (and I’m not talking about being a little sleepy, I’m talking pure exhaustion but still up studying)
@Shani2496 жыл бұрын
Yes some students do use drugs but for most of us who stay up with little sleep just survive on caffeine. I sleep about 5 hours a night and I'm perfectly fine. However I do take 30 min naps here and there
@tailorforeman70826 жыл бұрын
5 hours a night is "normal"/do-able but there was a video where America studied all night and then slept for like 2 hours then went to school to take her quiz and that is a little suspicious to me. I take adderall for ADD so I am fully aware how it affects sleep and studying capabilities
@Shani2496 жыл бұрын
Taylee Nicole I mean I have studied all my without sleep and still went to do my test.... It's really not that hard if you set your mind to it. I got ahdh but don't take any medication for it. Don't wanna fuck my my brain in the long run.
