Don’t call the pharmacy And demand a medication right away. That’s not how it works in Florida at least. We have runs and cut offs to get meds on those runs. If the cut off is 5 and you’re calling us at 6:15, the facility will need to pay a stat fee because that’s the policy. Don’t take it out on the CPhTs.. thanks

Prn is OTC? At my facility we have Narcotic PRN as well.

It’s not always. PRNs can be ordered for pain if they have a surgery or have anxiety and those can be narcotics too
