15:51 Okay in my opinion, Kong talking bullshit to Francis before the chase scene makes sense here since assuming Kong and his buddies are feral cats and not a house cat like Francis (I don’t think the movie stated they were house cats) usually feral cats, typically male cats are dominant when they fight and usually feral male cats (if the feral cats are in a group which is known as colonies) are usually the dominant ones and are the leaders (think like a lion pride, usually the males are the leaders and protects the females) so that being said, since Kong and Francis were gonna fight, I assume Kong wanted to sound more threatening to Francis so he can get the upper hand, or paw in this case.

Yeah, I know it's very gory and it can only be stomached by those with tough tolerance for that kind of stuff. However, I do like how Felidae shows how a mature animated movie can be like. One thing I like is that the gory stuff isn't there for gore's sake, but often times has a purpose to it that emphasizes the brutality of the story's themes. I give it personally a 9 out of 10 for really being a great example of an actual adult animated movie.

So I ordered the book online, waited for it to be shipped from europe, read a library copy instead, watched the movie and now I finally could watch your review spoiler free. I loved the book. Yes the deaths were gruesome and the sex scene was unexpected to say the least but that's pretty much the same as all action murder mystery books/movies, this one was just animated with cats...

Mystery murder plot, anthropomorphic characters giving parents the false expectation of this being a "children's movie"(ie; happy go lucky disney plots where nobody dies)... I have a lot of reading to do... and now I'll have to hunt for a first edition copy of watership down... Why couldn't I just be obsessed with bad horror movies instead of books?

I own the book, and I've seen the movie, it was the instance where I saw the movie first rather than read the book first, However both are good, when I read the book I was pleased and satisfied with the story (I finished the book in the same day I got it).
