'Media lied': Model Amber Rose defends Donald Trump against racist criticism

Model Amber Rose has been praised online after she delivered a “heartfelt” speech at the Republican National Convention on Monday.
Users on X reacted to the model's comments as she defended former US president Donald Trump and called out the media’s lies.
“Amber Rose gave a classy and heartfelt speech - admitting she was lied to by the media, and saw the light after doing her own research,” wrote one user.
During her speech, the model announced her support for the 45th president and said the media “lied” to her about him.
Rose revealed it was her father who led her to research Trump and form an opinion about the former president herself.
"I’m no politician and I don’t wanna be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because, for a long time, I believed those lies,” she said.

Last person I voted for POTUS was Gary Johnson in 2012. I wrote myself in in 2016 and 2020. This is a powerful speech because it demonstrates how most people who are the most vehemently opposed to Trump formulate their world view based on lies. This is what makes me most angry. How can we have true debate on issues and come to some sort of consensus on important issues if people aren’t acting in good faith and would rather defame your character than debate you on the issues?
