But it is LESS corrupt and more democratic than India. Personally, the state of U.S. politics depresses me at the moment, but that's by U.S. standards. I also dispute your claim that living in countries automatically grants you expertise on that nation's politics. Expertise in politics comes from research and reading - activities that have nothing to do with place of residence. The U.S. has plenty of corruption, but it is not as widespread and blatant as it is in India. Show me one piece of strong empirical evidence that suggests otherwise. "And, btw, you know what, Indian PM can draw larger crowds in US than what Obama can draw in US." What does that prove, beyond that there are far more Indian immigrants in the U.S. than vice versa? All it proves is that far more Indians think the U.S. is a better place to live than there are Americans who think India is a better place to live! Also: "arrorgance glasses" is one of the most clumsy phrases I have ever seen. It is also an unwarranted personal attack when I have restricted my statements to abstract issues.
