The guy is a legend even here in Scotland. And a shame why modern Cajun bands we hear here tend to be last 12 bar over produced nonsense that lacks that rustic human quality these guys give it. Invaluable for new generations

Wow, am really feeling your comment. I have felt that way for a long time about many genres of music. The original purveyors of blues,country and Cajun sang and played with raw power and passion. I always fall back to the OG folks who never disappoint.

He is my relative as well as my great uncle fernest Mann Abshire who was a Lafayette Playboy, with Aldus Roger, My grandmother is Mrs Wanda, her father Joe Abshire, they owned the Quarter pole , and a lot of my other family members took up music and still play music to this day! Crazy to see this on KZbin

I’m related to Joe Abshire my great grandfather , my grandmother is Wanda, Nathan and Fernice Mann Abshire are relatives of mine , I never knew them I was born in 2006, but my grandmother Mrs Wanda, always taught me of my family and their music history, crazy to actually see it on KZbin

Is there anywhere that this song "Good Times Are Killing Me" can be viewed in full? Nathan played it with heart. It has the quintessential beat and wail of soulful music. Love it.
