They are truly astounding live. Saw them a few years ago at Leicester Cathedral, and before then at the Tabernacle in London, and both times were simply stunning, spellbinding, beautiful. Since people don't seem aware: this song is in Latin, a more "modern" version of the Roman version. The lyrics sound beautiful until you realize what they are saying and you have a very harmonic dance of beauty and death- yes I mean death (there are several lines in which they directly talk about the subject of death.)

Actually it's from medieval poetry. Adapted by Carl Orff in 30's in "Carmina Burana". Extremely slow and sad interpretation. I much prefer it as interpreted Qntal "Flamma". They nailed the spirit of this poem. Medieval Baebes are off on this one.

If you like this, you'll probably like Miranda Sex Garden's album Madra. One of the members of Medieval Bæbes, Katharine Blake was in MSG. All of MSG's music is great, though Madra is the only one with a close sound to this as it's a collection of madrigal songs. The rest of MSG is post-punk music with madrigal influences which is actually really interesting in itself!

OK. Specifics. It is simple modern dance choreographed to look vaguely medieval by the the Baebe's choreographer and staged by their director, Michael Verbese.. I forget the choreographer's name, but you can find him talking about the dance creations on the MB's website videos.
