This is an excellent explanation with visual aids I have come across (and I have viewed dozens of videos). The color coding and self demonstration were very helpful. The English captions were thoughtful, though I had no trouble understanding it spoken. 👍🏻

Hi there, I hope you are doing well. This sensation that you experiencing can mean a few things. Nevertheless, you may want to try this approach. ICE - Ice the knee for 10 minutes. This approach is just in case the knee is inflam. The other, you may want to warm the vastus medialis muscle, and muscles around. This can be done with heat pack or warm shower. I don't recommend bending, forcing the knee to bend, or movements that cause pain and keep trying to perform that action. It usually make things worst in the long term. Do take care!

Excellent video! I did a very long run and I got pain in the inner knee, but for example, when I squat I do not have knee pain. I feel the pain when while standing on both legs I attempt to flex the leg - raising my foot to my buttock. When i do that i feel pain in the inner knee. I am not sure if my strain is in the knee itself or a pulled hamstring for example. Thanks.

Hi there, it is possible base on what you mentioned. You can start with stretching your adductor and even your hamstring - this may be just temporary relieve The root of the problem may come from your running gait. Do have it check so that you can get it fixed. While shorter run feels 'ok', it may not have clocked the mileage to induce or stress those muscles, hence only during long run. Take care of yourself!

Good video . I have great pain in my hamstring muscle, if I bend my knee the muscle hurts so much , I can hardly walk, painful leg walks straight dragging my that leg when walking. What’s happening Dr.? Any ideas? It started when I took the vitamin C D zinc. I stopped taking after 3 days.

Hi Sameh, I hope you did a proper ACL post-op rehab because that is important then. As for the pain now, if you have watched the video, you will understand that there are many parts involved. My advice is to see a physio, have it properly examined. Don't delay any longer. Please take care.
