PerGear CF Express A 260gb Real World Review

Thanks for the review. I have the PerGear CFe T-A cards for few weeks now. What I found was the formatting speed was taking ~8s which was very slow when comparing with a 512K SDXC UHS-II V60/V90 cards that took only ~3s. Just last week I updated the firmware on A1 to V2.0 and the formatting speed is now ~3s so I am guessing that Sony's firmware updates also included some compatibility support for the PerGear CFe T-A card like how Adobe would update the compatibility list on cameras & lenses through software updates.

Interesting and good to know! I'm guessing you were formatting in-camera vs external? Somewhat curious if formatting from PC or Mac would be the same now or faster.

The problem was the camera update. I have an FS7 and was having card problems until I updated the firmware, it fixed it. So the issue was the camera, not the cards My cards worked fine once the update was done.
