Thanks, I finally found out what the X-Zinc does. Others have mentioned it, but not clearly and yet it so simple. .. It DOES function as a "regular" speedlight, but No TLL and NO HSS. Pure Manual.

highly suggest for future videos, not to be in front of the camera blocking you object. be on the backside or somewhere where your hands aren't all in the way. so people can see in more detail what you are going over in detail. 🤘🏼

Thanks for the video. I own this flash and I can't find the option to make it slave. The other day I was shooting with some other flashes (not profoto) and I wanted to illuminate some small area with the A1 and I just couldn't make it react to the other flashes! It was crazy! How can I use this flash as slave? Because I assume you can right?

Hi, could you give me an answer about this problem? since the remote air TTL Profoto is turned on the Z9 sled, the live View remains firm at the last exposure even increasing or decreasing the exposure later; if it is turned off in the live View I normally review. Thank you in advance for your answer😊

I just bought a profoto A10 and I don't know what's going on because I was at a wedding and out of nowhere it didn't flash anymore. the model light does work but I don't know what happened because it doesn't flash. Could it be that there is something I did to it that I have to check or was my flash damaged? Could you help me please?

Does it not work as a slave in any other non profoto environment ? I am trying to trigger it with a normal flash gun but it doesn’t fire. it’s other cousins B1

Dan T Do, you got to admit to yourself that just because you can take a picture doesn't mean you know about business. Take this as a free lesson from me because they won't teach in school. 1. I can also find a shooter. But finding a photo editor is another matter. 2. I can find a worker, but it take time to find a good leader. 3. I can hire one @ $8.75/hr. that can shoot just as good as a pro. 4. Anyone with money becomes a buyer & buyer has his names on it. 5. Buyers like me, Adorama, B&H Photo and Rollei become sellers or owners. By the way, ATG has them in 165ws, 200ws, 300ws & 400ws, which have more power than this little candlelight of 76ws, Profoto A1. As number don't lie, 165 is more than 76. Why today shooters want to pay $1,000.00 for 76ws is beyond me. ATG has it for $700.00 @ 165ws & able to use tri-batteries and radio zoom from 24-200mm. This is a clear winner. Here is a hint and do your searches, it's the world's first flash that uses 26650. Well, before using the internet, I bet you and many all shooters have no ideal was is a 26650 battery is, right? But surely ATG, Elon Musk & his companies know what it is. ATG, many companies & I care less about people making fun or calling us names. But we laughed & smiled every time we go to the bank.

A second generation from ATG will be coming out in July with better features & cost less than A1. ATG done it again into Godox and Jinbei.

A1 is just an overrated and super overpraised piece of equipment... Godox is much better in this division: AD200 or V860III are both less than $200 each and they still offer an excellent quality and outstanding performance too. Enough said.

Dan T Do You are absolutely correct: AD200 is $300 brand new. My bad. What is the problem with Chinese products these days? Do you know that all Apple devices are actually made in China? Especially if Godox products beat their competition in all parameters 100%.

vadimyakus i’m using 3 godox speedlites, they’re pretty good but sometimes they’re not really reliable. I missed some moments so. And with this a1 people don’t have to worry about the recycle time, you will not miss any moment, just like the rotolight neo ii. Is it worth it? Each of us have own answer.

vadimyakus and Apple devices are not made in china, some parts of those are, the rest are made in other countries, they’re just put together in china, and all are designed in California.

@@dand3675 doesn't matter who makes the parts... Apple products are still marked by made in China sign. No brands (even Broncolor) can't guarantee you a 100% reliability. In this case it is much better and safer to have 3 x Godox heads instead of 1 x Profoto head in your photo bag. Period.
