Sorry for the long delay in uploads! I started 2 other videos, then decided to make this medic 101 series and just go through everything medic in sequential order. I know this vid likely doesn't have any new ideas/tips for many of you since it's a beginner's guide, but stay tuned; I got some juicy, well-seasoned content coming.

At least judging from this vid: Theory-Y is *hype* about practicing medicine! He correctly refers to Medic as TF2's best class, since he promotes strategy and logistics (who's the most useful über-patient? who should I heal or buff atm?) His Medic guides are devoid of obligated tone of having to play, or worse-yet resentment of, Medic. The influencing power of the good doctor and his kit is given full spotlight; kill count is an alien metric to success when you control the flow of healing I just really like playing Medic

When I started playing TF2 last year, I started as Medic and I eventually became a pretty good Medic. I was decent enough from the beginning because most of what I should have been doing was common sense, I can't express how annoying it is for your teammates to just let you die. It hurts to know they don't care about you on any class, but it hurts the most on Medic because of the lack of kill options.

You're right. The reason we play medic is because there are none or they're ass. Almost 700 hours. 700 hours of self-deprecation and livid rage.

Played with you earlier today on Uncletopia, was fun :) as a decent Medic, I really enjoy the challenge of trying to juggle heals on half a dozen targets while also keeping an eye out for threats. He's easily the most important class in the game, and it's satisfying to see the enemy team crumble, knowing that my superior healing likely made a big difference.

It’s crazy how many otherwise normal medics will chase a spy with their ubersaw across the map straight into the enemy team or a trickstab. They seem conditioned to think spies are free uber if they spot them first lol

As a fellow medic main, although, not as experienced, I can ABSOLUTELY confirm that this is a great guide for beginners. Also, this made me think of one interesting fact: There are three types of medics(excluding the [generic Array7 stereotype]): -The Holy Medicinal Man(uses stock or quick, tries to help his team, failing miserably due to them not realising his efforts(for now I'm here!)) -The Sinner(pocket medic, either STOCKing the phlog pyro, or stuffing his demo/soldier/heavy pocket with CRITZ(fuck them, and everyone around them

4:45ty idk why medics never heal me when am a demo like come on you know I can do huge damage in short time and sticky jumping takes a lot of health plz man. And no I don't suck(I do)but when I change to Soldier or heavy now medics heal me. And when the game starts and am a medic I heal the demo for the sticky jump then Soldier so he can rocket jump longer and a scout so I can reach med a little bit faster then I can play normally

Medic is insane. I managed to heal 16k health points in a single match with ease and I barely play him. The crossbow also activates the same neurons as hitting crit flares which is a plus since that's my favorite thing to do in the game.

From what Ive seen medics have the highest amount of suicidal tendencies out of all the nine classes. The amount of times ive seen meds run straight at me is not only insane but also disrespectful towards me, my aim and sasha. I swear. Someone needs to beat these guys into submission.

They should make the third degree throwable, with the downside that you don't have a melee weapon for 30 seconds. Cannot random crit, but damage is increased with distance traveled. Acts like the flying guillotine

Nothing has made me hate spy more than playing Medic. I know it’s my fault, but sometimes it just feels like spies will dedicate their lives to taking me down. I turn around, no spy. I turn around, no spy. I turn around, still no spy. I spend 2.5 seconds crossbow-ing a low demoman, and immediately get stabbed by a spy that immediately dies for it afterwards. And the same cycle happens over and over and over again, no matter how much I try and spin like a beyblade to keep an eye out for them.

Sadly no matter how good of a medic you are. All it takes is for the opponent team to have 1 good sniper to basically shut it down.

You can try and stay of sight and not peak too much. Plus you can have Vaccinator on bullets which can be helpful too, I guess.
