Hi Poet, thank you for showing us Sky’s medical equipment. It reminds me of the equipment we had for my beloved Dad. We had a big wheelchair ramp built on our house, but the only places our Dad could ever go was to the hospitals 😢 We will always keep the ramp; my daughter said if we had it removed, one of us would end up needing it. Good Morning! 🌻🌿 Again, I will be catching a few hours sleep as you are waking. As my circadian rhythm is backwards for now. Just popping in for a visit, to say a hello and see your day's musings. Oh sweet one, you are so detailed you could sell anything on QVC! 😉 I have no doubt you were an excellent CNA. I am sure you were very attentitive to patients needs as well as compassion care. Attention to detail in being a CNA makes for a good one that is very aware and doesn't miss a beat. Sounds here. .. like you had a bearable day. An ebb in the tides of grief. A chance to catch your breath. Ahh... dating chat. The yearning for connection can be tricky. Times can feel so unbearably lonely. Your wound is still fresh and vunerable. In listening, Sky is still very forefront in your heart and mind Go easy Poet. I know how the uneasiness, painful discomforts and fears feel. Care for you like you'd care for someone dear to you. What you are feeling takes time to navigate and be ok with. We tend long for comfort, connection and well, love. 💝 Something I reflect on concerning ANY type of relationship. Still learning, accepting and doing self care as I go. My income has changed too, so I understand. I, too, just lost my loooong doctor to retirement!! Already missing her. Sixty minute time blocks. Blessed to have had her as part of my team. I cried like a baby at our last appointment as I thanked her for her caring, thorough and extra mile work. She cried too! I think it is wonderful that you are speaking with your daughter and perhaps making plans. I have Kenny in my thoughts and in my prayers. I didn't notice we were crooked but when you mentioned it I noticed my head was tilted. :) Scanning and sending papers would make me nervous too. You are right! You are worth it!

Hi Poet, Robyn from New Zealand. I have to say there is no hand book for grief. There is no right or wrong way to get through the days. We are all different with our grief We do all share a great loss. Yes the one left behind is no fun. Just day by day❤❤
