Love your mom and dad! They're so humble and so loving. And wow, pops? He's a mathematical genius! Anybody that gets a doctorate in mathematics is automatically a genius.

My parents, and my great aunt are Rutgers Alumni Rutgers and so the school was always something I had an emotional attachment similar to you and Brown. I was happy to go start my college career at Rutgers. That being said Brown had been my dream college for most of my life, however it was more due to it’s location in Providence than anything else if I’m honest. However, I realized that it probably wouldn’t be the best college for me because I went to the Lawrenceville High School an elite boarding school and I was a bit tired from that sort of environment and didn’t want another four years in an even more elite college. I love my high school but it kinda warps my perspective of myself and the world around me. I am enjoying Rutgers because it’s diverse in ways a highly selective college like Brown can’t be and I have a support group in Rutgers due to my family’s connections. That being said I still find Brown appealing so if I continue and my current medical career path I plan on applying and seeing what happens. Brown is certainly a lovely school.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and perspective Reghan! I’m so happy you are enjoying Rutgers! It’s a great school! Brown is also a great school and I’m glad you are keeping it on the table as an option for medical school!

Great video. Would have loved to hear more about the questions they asked in the interview and what the group activity was.

Thank you! Unfortunately discussing the specifics of interview questions fora given school is kind of taboo 😬. But they were very typical questions. I made a video going over what typical questions are and how I prepared if you want to check it out! kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3eYeaWCapaEfaM

Did you have to travel far? I’m having a hard time finding KZbinrs who have travelled or are going to travel by plane or car to their med school interviews
@EvolvingMedic2 жыл бұрын
I traveled but that was because I applied in the cycle before COVID. So now most interviews are virtual
