I’m a DVM and research is huge in trying to obtain an ophthalmology residency. I’m doing a postdoctoral research fellowship and it feels like I have 10 jobs in 1 lol: Lead vet (record review, appointments, managing client reminders/discharges), coordinator of our 10+ person team of different specialties, data collection, data entry/storage, data QC, data statistics, and presentations. Plus, my side ophthalmology manuscript, performing another ophthalmology pilot study etc. I really want to crank out some research papers but all of the other tasks that seem simple add up soo fast… Pray for me to be more productive.
