I have used my Medicare Advantage through Lakeside Medical Group here in Bucerias twice over the last 5 years. Lakeside handled everything and I didn't even pay a centavo out of pocket.

Thank you for this information. I plan to move to Mexico in April. Greg said not to contact him yet if you are just planning your move and don't know exactly when that will happen. But, if open enrollment ends December 7th and I'll need a different Advantage plan, won't I need to know that to make the switch by December 7th?

You said call Lakeside as your Mexico 911. What if you are hit by a car, unconscious and Red Cross does not know which hospital to take you to

no- obviously if you can’t speak you’ll need to be taken to the nearest hospital.

Do the doctors and nurses speak English at Ensenada hospital? My Spanish is very rusty and if I have a cardiac event, it would be stressful with language barrier . Have a cardiac unit? I could eventually need stents. Thank you 🙏
