Have had MA plans PPO for 8 years, the same plan and carrier. I had one doctor drop the plan for 1 year and was back in it the next year and ever since, and I think they tried to sign up a little late that one year. Never had any problem with doctors in the PPO network ion the PPO MA plan. Never had any problem with prior authorization either. Had open heart surgery on the plan, no problems, $3,000 MOOP for that full year. I beleive this is acceptable, IMO. Half of the $3,000 MOOP was for copays on the 36 sessions of cardiac rehab. About $300 of it was also the copay for a cardiac catherization test.
