went away from military training for 3 weeks came back saw my youngest son scratching his head and i just sort of looked not even combed through his girls and I could see the lice its an image that has scarred me for life I FREAKED OUT - bugs are not my thing - I used the shampoo but learned they can be resistant to that so we also did heat treatments and vaseline and shower caps. it worked they were gone in 2-3 days.

I used to teach. One year, I got head lice and was pregnant. There was very limited remedies to use. I cried a lot, used a lot of mayo and vinegar. Oh and cried some more. After that experience and after k had my son, I started spraying my hair daily w a life ‘shield’ spray. 😂

Yep, went through pediculosis twice… My entire family had it and in quite late stage. I still have flasbacks😂😂😂

Be sure & tell your kids not to share brushes, combs, hair accessories with other school friends....they carry lice (& eggs).
