I agree with the comments, what a Fiasco of policies by our state government on the use of medical cannabis and vapes . What I’m noticing more and more is that the level of incompetence on so many policies created by the state government on so many topics before them that I have lost any type of faith in the Cook government . Health failed , mental health failed , gun control failed , DPIRB failed , violence against woman failed , but hey … we have great bike paths ! Thank you Dr Walker for exposing what our state government is about .

you guys should investigate the poor quality medicine that's being sold to australian patients that's putting our health at risk, from using unhealthy growing chemicals( certain growth regulators and bio stimulants ) and poor testing ( not much would past even a microbial test ). A year ago i stalked some profiles of some the people working high up in cannabis grow facility's (the ones signing products thru for testing) and if you look up some those people and then look up some the people from the new testing businesses and you can see some of these people are friends in real life (social media accounts)and even before these businesses was even open. so what does that look like ? maybe there needs to be a royal commission into the medical industry.

Exactly. Government cannabis is almost PGR. First time I saw it I was shocked on how bad the quality was. Visualising and smelling the product first is a must and patients aren’t receiving that option.

The medical cannabis industry is RIFE with conflicts of interest. The growers/importers are all in bed with the clinics & prescribers too. It's all extremely dodgy and these companies routinely break the law (largely through inappropriate advertising). Very few of these them are genuinely interested in the 'medical' aspect - it's about pushing as much weed as possible to (let's be honest, recreational) users. If they wanted to be taken seriously as healthcare providers, they'd be operating very differently imo. But they don't care.

I hear there legislation in the mix to tax nicotine vapes.. don't know why there doing that if there banned. and if that is the case it wasn't for the kids it was because the were losing there tax dollars. same goes to the smokeless tobacco ban can't tax that at the same rate might as well ban it. why can't we have a system like argentine that allows 3 plant grow for medicinal use. oh that's right if the government can't tax it why the fxck would they allow it.
