I love the deeper meaning of the music video, how the stalker only sees his interactions with this woman as positive. He doesn’t see separation as a sign that he should stop but only as encouragement for him to find news ways to contact her. Seeing these deliberate attempts to get rid of him as ironic or coincidence. It really offers a unique perspective. Amazing work I love your art so much!!

I'm studying animation right now. Particularly how arcs emulate life-like movement, and motion without arcs has a mechanical effect. When the dude starts playing sax is the only time (aside from picking up the phone) that arcs are present in his movement. In fact, there's a lot of arcs when he plays the sax for her. Even though there's no lyrical content in this moment I can tell this is when he feels alive, he has an outburst of expression and (relatively) lifelike movement because he's being listened to, truly listened to by the person of his dreams. It's freakin' beautiful man.

God, this song hits for me, but the vision I've got is a different one, and makes both parties more innocent than in the video The man is a father who is divorced/separated from the mother and the mother keeps 100% custody of the child. The father doesn't take this well and begins to keep tabs on his daughter, giving her money through mysterious envelopes and eventually speaks with her. She has no idea who he is, and his words land him in jail for a night. He tries to explain over the phone but she doesn't listen, and eventually tries to get close again through a disguise. I'll let the readers decide how it ends, but this song is just so happy sounding that it deserves a good ending.
