yes please, btw I noticed that you forgot that in medieval 2 the plaza doesnt go back to the og owner when one person steps on to it, as long as you have the majority of troops on it you keep having control of the plaza

Medieval 2 battles always felt like I was fighting in a dream. I really felt it when you were saying "RUN...RUN..." They also gave us the limpest cavalry collisions I've ever seen in a Total War :)

Dunno what you mean, if you actually know how to use them the cavalry impacts are extremely powerful.

Bruh what ? Medieval cavalry is the strongest in any game u can win insane battles just by using cav. And limpest cav charges ? Have u seen any game passed med 2 ?

I already said this in your first review of this mod, but this mod is cool af. They did such a good job porting everything from Rome 1 to Medieval 2

There is also extended map in this mod. Sicily has 4 settlements there (2 owned by Carthage) and the map goes up to india.

Part 2 please! I'm really impressed with how the modder's done the Greek settlements: It looks like Rome 1's models put into a Medieval 2 layout. It somehow sort-of looks like an historically accurate Polis. (Apart from the walls, but hey ho ^^) Would be interesting to see how the Roman and Barbarian cities look!

I had the first Barbarian Invasion game from Sega & the horde mode spoiled me. So when i hopped on M2 i grabbed Russia. Built up for 15 turns, and set sail for Scotland. Built up a wild British Russki Empire. Did the same with the Turks in Spain, the English in Tunis, The Byz(Romans) in Italy just abandoning the original homeland each time. Miss playing. Love your games, vids, abd most of all the massive EFFORT you put into providing all this @MELKOR. *2 CORNITHIANS **3:16*

This is baller! I even saw a Justinian Era campaign on the moddb. Vanilla Barb Invasion feels very hit or miss on the horde factions. Half the time they just get smoked or do nothing and it just becomes Rome Civil War the campaign. The mod actually sets up the proto kingdoms after the West half fell. It looks lit af fam. I'm going to play all versions. The expanded map sounds fun too.

I feel that Med2 wasn't made to be played at huge squad sizes, the pathfinding in sieges just get screwed up hard, at normal you don't get this much trouble.

Medieval 2 was frustrating to play on battle map. In some ways it felt like a step back compared to Rome

I agree honestly, M2 is so much slower and less reactive than Rome 1.

​@@NikoGameTime units with precursor projectiles are buggy. Pikes are buggy, lethality is global - rome 1 each weapon for each unit had separate lethality, units are less responsive

I also remember reading from a modder that in M2, you get 50% of the bonus to defense against arrows on BOTH flanks, instead of just the flank that actually has the shield as in RTW... The low responsiveness is the worst thing. I don't mind pikes being less effective so much because they were pretty broken in RTW, but the sidearm bug is bad. Mods usually work around this by removing the sidearm, but this does have the side-effect of making the unit more one-dimensional.
