In​ M2TW​ if​ i​ remember​ correctly​ Byzantine​ is​ Orthodox right?​ So​ yeah​ that​ why​ because​ they're​ not​ o​ne​ of​ Catholic​ Church mean​ they're​ freely​ to​ attack​ them.

Uhm no, they simply took territory without the Byzantine's consent and didn't gave that back. Whatever noble intention the crusaders had was abandoned once they started it.
