As someone who has worked as a reenactor for Renaissance Faires for over 14 years, I actually got excited at the mention of Jousts at the 2:41 mark. I work in the Jousting area of our huge rennfaire every year as one of the Rabble Rousers. It is my job to not only do crowd control, but to explain who our Knight is, what country he hails from, what he stands for, how to cheer and boo accordingly and to show respect for the Queen. It's one of the most enriching experiences to be able to interact (in character and full garb) with hundreds of strangers. This was lovely to watch as someone who 'time travels' every year at the Renaissance Faire.

It was called the dark ages because of the lack of education and knowledge when the Roman Empire fell.
@life-kk9xu5 жыл бұрын
Thought it was called the dark ages because people were not as enlightened about physics and more ignorant about far away information. But you say it's because it was dark metaphorically

Vlogs Of Knowledge it's a Austrian kight and a Minne Sänger. (Minne = love / loving Sänger = vocalist) an these would sing for a Minnedame. (Dame= Lady ) He "cut off" his finger (his finger was hit by a lance and hung of a vane) for his Minnedame and sent it to her.(there is no direct Translation becouse it is Mittel Hoch Deutsch)
