@@texasgent4694 One fan comic on deviantart (by olgatarta) reveals Lord Kardok (using his Resurrection centaur design) purposefully stomped on his jaw and crushed it as a final insult to Sir Dan after he was killed (as destroyed bones do not stay intact in death, apparently).

Damn, the nostalgia! I *LOVED* playing this as a kid with my dad! My personal favorite boss was (and still is) the Stained Glass Demon. Hey. To be honest, I've really enjoyed it myself. The gameplay, soundtrack and slight changes to some areas have been mostly great in my opinion. If you didn't play the original, maybe you won't like it as much though. I would say I'm happy with my purchase overall. If you're worried about a lot of things being censored in the remake as mentioned in the above comments, as far as I noticed, the only part they changed was what we mentioned, that being the woman with the spear in the Hall of Heroes (the first conversation with her). All other dialog has been carried over the same except Dan's VA did all of his lines again. A minor thing I did notice when Dan's speaking with the Boat Man in Pools of the Ancient Dead, one of his responses on PS1 was 'Tell me about it' but in the remake he says one his usual lines instead. I think this was just a mistake by the developers though. Anyway, if you're a fan of the original then yeah, you should give it a try. Maybe wait for a discount if not.

I find it funny that the master of longbows doesnt know about the other two longbows XD Btw, I finished this game lots of times but I found out years after finishing it that the magic longbow had a special attack with the square button, and created a magic wave to hit and push multiple enemies

It's for the cases where you can choose between multiple people. Gives you a chance to quit out if, for instance, you want a new weapon, but talk to the shield guy.

You have to collect the Chalice of Souls in each level. You have to kill all (or almost all) the enemies in the level to be able to collect the chalice.
