I'll never forget playing this game at the pool with my friend and his brother. I looked forward to going to my dads house every weekend just to play this game and monster hunter freedom. Crazy how life goes :) keep the videos coming!

I played the original, but I liked resurrection better. The graphics allowed the art style to stand out more and because I was a fan of Beetlejuice, it felt more along the lines of that. Although the first game felt more horroresque, I like the comedy because I’m a big goofball. That said, there is still something special about the first one and there are also elements of the first one that I prefer

@@JDOmnislash yeah, agreed. But there are some people trashing this game as if it’s so awful because the tone is different. The gameplay is similar. You’re right about the criticism of the hit detection and the fact that it doesn’t have the exploration elements. I feel you are one of the more fair reviewers. You chalk it up to personal preference, where as most just say it’s bad because it’s not like the original.

@@CarlosGonzalez-tx4cb Appreciate that! And agreed, I don't think calling this one "bad" is the way to go, when they went to such great lengths to improve the graphics and facial expressions.

I feel like Medievil Resurrection is the Conker Live and Reloaded of Playstation (But Dan's armor midriff is pretty hilarious though)

That's a great analogy. I definitely liked it for what it was, even if the original still has the winning spot in my heart.

I definitely prefer the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. The levels and art style are very special. Plus the PSP version doesn’t have all of the levels. It’s missing the Ant Caves. However, if you’ve played the ps1 and ps4 versions, this version is a very interesting alternative.

@@mg5585 No, there is no physical version of this game for Vita. Only for PSP. If you check Ebay or similar places you can easily find used copies of the game available. If you don’t have a PSP you can buy the original PS1 game for Vita from PSN. The PS4 also has the remake, but it is based on the PS1 game.

i liked also the original more, prefer as well the more horror orientated atmosphere.. graphics are much better in the psp version though.
