This is probably the first iodus video where the poster didn’t get the “you suck” approval. I think the reason why StalkerOnly left is because he couldn’t recognize he still had a chance to win. I do think you need to be at a certain skill level to recognize a winning position from where the match ended. Personally, I probably would have GGed at that point as well.

Zerglings /are/ OP. Only 1 tech requirement, builds fast, low supply, moves fast, attacks fast, deals fair damage, 6 supply worth of zerglings destroy buildings faster than OSHA can inspect their structural integrity. Of course it's not like they can't be countered by anything, it's pretty easy to counter them - but for what they are and how fast you can get them, yeah, pretty OP. 6 supply of zerglings: 300m 17-18 seconds (larva morphed at the same time from 1 hatchery after at least 66 seconds have passed if nothing else was hatched) 60 damage 120 dps (168 with adrenal) CC: 1500 hp, 1 armor - about 13 seconds to kill (9 with adrenal) Nexus: 1000Hp, 1 armor, 1000 shields - 8 seconds to tear shield down, 9 seconds to kill the rest, about 16seconds to kill in total (12 with adrenal) Hatchery: 13 seconds to kill / 9 with adrenal (identical to CC) For what you pay, zerglings are pretty damn good. Which makes it surprising that a lot of people skip zerglings entirely and go for absolutely stupid tactics like roach only when roach is more expensive in all respects and deals less damage). Zerglings are the GOAT of zerg. The absolute MVP carry. They should always be in use for how cheap and devastating they are to the enemy. If enemy has a counter to zerglings, you make zerglings and send them to an undefended area while your main army deals with the opponent's main army. Absolutely trash their bases with 6 or 7 supply worth of zerglings.

Zerglings are already powered vs weak Protoss Gateway army, add upgrades to the equation, 2-2, 3-3, Adrenal, that's huge vs weak upgrades Protoss get's melted, no chance at attacking and/or defending, he basically won with upgrades, that's skills, Zerg probably had higher MMR. If the Protoss plays good there are ways to counter. It all balances out when you consider powered Protoss strategies and units like Templar units and Recall.

This is the dumbest game I've ever seen I think. What's especially funny is the Zerg-Protoss army strength switch here. Often you see Zerg armies with superior numbers get crushed by relatively small Protoss forces because Protoss units individually are way stronger than Zerg units. But due to StalkerOnly only building stalkers against Ling-Hydra, you see large Protoss numbers get absolutely deleted by a small amount of Zerg. It's quite refreshing to see actually.
