Meditation and Mindfulness to Handle Life

Life is very stressful because of all the difficulties, suffering and constant worry that it brings which cause a lot of us to resort to drinking, drugs and many other vices in order to cope with the daily negativity. The way I am able to cope without causing harm to yourself is through meditation and breathing exercises which allows you to relax and thus become more mindful of your surroundings and with the information you absorb.

Positive self talk, telling ourselves how great we are is key. I started doing positive self talk again about a week ago and it has had profound effects. The system broke me down and my self confidence slowly went away. But I started it again and I'm so glad I did. It seems to be making all the difference. We gotta tell ourselves we are great, perfect, wonderful, smart beautiful etc. We have to be here on this planet we may as well feel good and positive self talk seems to help.
