It's crazy you did a meditation for this problem I've never heard of it before but have had it on and off for about a year now Blows my mind so many others have it too Thank you!

Thank you so much for receiving my request and creating this meditation Claire! As a person suffering from these throat issues and terrified of eating, I find it so validating to be able to have at least one resource that will help to support myself through this. It is such a difficult problem to face, but the mind is very powerful and we can conquer globus sensation with the right mindset. We really do need more resources like this on the internet to help people, because it is something many silently suffer through with no answers. To others who are suffering with this, just know that healing is possible and you are not alone!

Thank you. I appreciate that it's a symptom not everyone will relate to, but it's always nice to find a meditation that seems like it was designed specifically for you.

Always thank you for your videos!! Listen to them very regularly ❤️ Would love a gentle and calming positive affirmation video to fall asleep to. I think that’d be great to be the last things I hear before ending my day and preparing for the next :-) I love falling asleep to your videos! Puts me right at ease.

Thank you! This meditation was very therapeutic. Also it’s amazing how creating a picture in our minds of our safe place brings softness in your body now.

I needed this too but when I listened to words like throat and neck, I just felt overwhelmed by the words. Do any of you feel the same way too? How do you overcome it?

Oh I feel for you. ❤ I think it just shows how powerful our thoughts are. If there’s a pain anywhere in my body for a long time, I think I hold tension there. My brain says I need to take care of it, and worry sets in. But because I don’t always know how to heal myself, I just try to avoid anything that causes me to feel more pain, and that includes any words associated with the place in my body. It’s probably quite useful in an emergency situation but a lot of long term problems can just sit for years, causing this avoidance mentality. That’s why I love Clare’s meditations - they help me relax in a gentle way, then she goes to the specific place of pain or difficulty, and starts to softly massage away with her soothing voice. I imagine that when you first hear the words associated with a long term difficulty, then your brain tries to protect you by saying that this is a dangerous place to think about. It could be that if you listen to the same meditation every day, with perhaps a gently warmed wheat bag (not too hot!) on your stomach or maybe chest area, then the warmth helps your mind focus on the comforting aspect, and the little amount of practice each day will help your mind to gradually get used to hearing the words that are triggering, and you’ll be able to start the healing and helping process. I don’t have any medical training, so this is just a suggestion from a fellow human, but I have been doing one of Clare’s meditation every morning for more than four years now, and it’s so helpful. The minute I hear her voice my brain senses that, and immediately tells my body that it’s time to let go of tension and let the healing begin. I also listen to a ‘getting to sleep’ one every evening as I start to settle down before sleep. My favourite is the Cosy Cottage Meditation. Well, that was a very long comment, but I hope it helps and gives you hope, that even if there’s no ‘cure’ for us, then we can learn coping mechanisms and routines that will make the pain and anxiety much more bearable. And it’s not addictive like prescription drugs 😂 plus it’s not an expensive thing to do, although Clare has helped me so much with her library of meditations I can access every day, that I have subscribed and buy a coffee every month. It’s been so worth it for me. Bless you and don’t give up trying. ❤
