Veterans are often loath to acknowledge to themselves or others their inner wounds of war after they return home from combat. Healing those wounds of war requires an approach that directly impacts the neurophysiology underlying post traumatic stress.
Norwich University is a military college located in Northfield, Vermont. Recently they made the momentous decision to include the Transcendental Meditation technique as part of their daily routine. This video documents the astonishing improvements that took place.

I have been doing TM for a year now. I LOVE IT! I am grateful to David Lynch for giving me and my family partial scholarships to learn this technique.

The most suprising and valuable effect of this technique, which is so pleasing for everyone personally, lies in creating an collective invincible protecting shield for the whole army and a whole country, so that no soldier has to fight and to kill anymore. No enemy will arise under this influence, which comes from the quantum field

Outstanding! Norwich leads the way once again. One thing I'd like to add is that one does not have to subscribe to Eastern religion, or to any religion, in order to take advantage of TM's power and benefit. For example, I am a Christian. I pray to God. And I aso meditate. And I know for a fact that President Schneider is also a Christian. I used to attend service at White Chapel with him when I was a cadet.

No-one knows what would happen if two enlightened soldiers ever face each other on opposite sides in battle. One can only hope that group practice of TM will help prevent that from ever occurring and that when they retire, enlightened soldiers will become enlightened community, business and political leaders and work to make sure that such a scenario never need take place by finding peaceful solutions to issue before conflict becomes necessary.
