Thank you so much for sharing the Stations of the Cross. Most Protestant churches do not use it. When I see /hear it really shows us what Jesus went through. Thank you very very much for sharing it Laura.

Hi Laura! This is a very good post. I have been to churches that use The Stations of The Cross for Holy Week and for personal devotion ! It's a unique spiritual practice. I'm glad your community is keeping this tradition !🌷

Dear Laura, thank you for narrating this blessed experience with such a beautiful and deep passion for Christ. Let us spend our day (Good Friday) in contemplation and meditation of our blessed LORD in remembrance of that day that changed the course of humanity and our relationship with God. For what god, king or man would do such a thing? Our Heavenly Father, THE CREATOR of all the earth, the ALMIGHTY RULER of the all the universe, and the only Sacred and Holy King of all mankind made HIMSELF the least of these. HE made HIMSELF the most lowly and humble of all men and HE walked the earth with us. HE carries what should be our cross, our sin and our death sentence to the top of the hill of Golgotha and nails our sins to a place they can no longer do any more harm to our Holy Father, to HIS Sacred SELF. HE nails our sins to a place they can no longer do any harm to you or me or any other. By the blood of the EVERLASTING Covenant, through the mercy, love and forgiveness of God we are redeemed because we are invited to eat of the bread (HIS Holy flesh) and drink of the wine (HIS Holy blood). We need no longer suffer the sentence of the fallen race because we ate from the tree of good and evil; BUT NOW, we eat from the FRUIT OF THE TREE OF ETERNAL LIFE, WHO IS our Savior, Jesus Christ. When HE nailed HIMSELF to the tree, shed the sacrificial blood for thee, HE defeated death, HE was resurrected on the third day and crowned THE Everlasting Sacred Lord of lords and Holy KING of kings. Let us spend our days giving praise and glory to our Blessed God and Savior, Jesus Christ our Messiah! Amen and Amen! Blessings to all my dear brothers and sisters in Christ. 💗🙏

Beautiful readings and beautiful prayers. This video puts Easter into its correct perspective. Bunnies are fun, chocolate eggs are tasty but they should not and do not overshadow the beauty that may be seen in sacrifice. Thank you for sharing this meditation 👍🙏♥️🙏👍

How should one effectively approach understanding the teachings of Christ? It seems like a big area, and I am wondering if there is a structured approach that the Bruderhof take on this topic?

Thanks for your questions. I have always thought that Jesus's teachings were the most simple thing about the Bible. Acting on those teachings is what seems to be harder! But there are wonderful resources we use. Here is one that I really love, and has been helpful to me from Plough Publishing: www.plough.com/en/topics/faith/discipleship/discipleship-living-for-christ

Thank you Mrs. Laura. This is true, but Pilate said he washed his hands of it all. Where he didn't have anything to do with it. One thing that'd be interesting to find out, The Bible states that Jesus was questioned, as myself, I project an idea of polite simple questioning. However, was questioning an adequate translation? How long has the wurd interrogate exist? I ask, because there be whut is called base words. Which there's prefix and suffixes. Let me lurn everyone sumthing. In- terror- gate. Note the base wurd in duh center? So, was Jesus questioned or interrogated? Where anyone know anything about Europe, questioning can be hell. Literally. When Jesus was here, everyone gathered around, as having fish, it was heaven on earth. Seems like I saw one place reference someone living hell on earth, which some have done. Suicides often result from suffering, where a person feels pain and agony. But there's Judases case and Saul's. But there be many more scenarios. Where we learn about be quartered, drawn, some terrible punishments, look at Joan of Ark, burned. Where as today, there are interrogation techniques where it is all mental and emotional, never having to lay a hand on you, where it is hell/misery, where it can induce such mental/emotional agony, a person is apt to give a confession, thus coerced confession, others might end life other ways, as it is a fact, psychological pain can exceed that of physical pain. Most can not fathom, some are too stupid to believe. Which today, techniques are more refined, refined as in extracting information. Where same methods are used but intensity is more and such so as to be called thought Reform. Which, after having mentioned this, was Jesus merely questioned or interrogated? As I really suspect he was interrogated, where Pilate could say with conviction he found nothing he's guilty of. Which with interrogation, you will talk, only a few know how to resist. Very similar to thought Reform, what's also called Brainwashing. Some erroneously call Indoctrination Brainwashing, as allegations of Bruderhoff being brainwashed. No, indoctrinated. Two different things. Anyway, if Europe was hell with questioning, I would imagine it stemmed from Roman Empire, where Jesus was. Where Pilate said with conviction Jesus did nothing worthy of death, he gave those demanding his death with conviction. Where he washed his hands of the matter, otherwords, any judgement was the Judgement of particular Jews. Understand mistake thinking it was all Jews, no there were other Jews on Jesus side who said Jesus was innocent Where knowing facts and reality can change as a person can see into what's real. Where if anyone is loyal to God, they'd desire truth and not accept just what someone says. Going with the flow is easy, where Maslow Hierarchy of Needs is very valid, and a base need social acceptance and approval, where some will sell their soul to have this gratified. I've had it used on me, where some will play stupid games where they control an environment, where others will break and suck up, but jackasses rurned their nose up at my gestures but wanted to alienate me, where the desire for human interaction is a very strong drive, which detectives or investigators would know as well as mental health. Yet, average people are totally unaware and can't see psych tactics used. Which it'd help if those of faith would learn more about these things, as when an apostle stated we know the snares of Satan, they did, American Christians are totally unaware, many do not care to know because their psych needs are gratified and going to church and behaving according to expectation is a requisite for acceptance and approval. Which it'd be good if any of sincere faith would learn these things as well as learning and understanding how to do and not do what the Bible teaches faithful. Many do not have a clue, but go through the motions. Any feel pricked in their heart? Others will take offence because their insincerity is revealed. Which life can be heaven in dis world, but facing God who is a very gentle, meek God. His ferociousness comes out when his people are done wrong. Or, his rage comes from pain of others cheating on him, idolatry which correlates to adultery. Where masculine reference to God is simply language, where forget about God, when he's been good to you, his rage is comparable to that of a female. Which the Bible doesnt mention God feeling this pain and hurt. Probably because it's written by men that often are quite ignorant and prefer to be above God rather than seeking to know truth. I love you my children, from God.
