Did u buy tickets ahead of time to get into Colliseum? Worried about coordinating boat arrival/train times and transfers.

Try to get a lower deck in the middle. Less turbulence. Take Dramamine also. You will be fine after the first day.

Thanks for the video! My wife and I are going on the Epic from Barcelona next month. How full was the occupancy of the ship for your cruise? 100%? Three quarters?

I just did this cruise. I was so disappointed in the Epic and with NCL. I cruised from June 22nd through July 2nd. The food was so subpar. Very hit or miss. NCL refuses to even uphold their own dress policy in the Manhattan room. So those of us who like to dress up for dinner, could very well be sitting next to somebody in shorts or beach attire. Going back to the food. I'm from Las Vegas and our worst buffet out here is better than the one on that ship. Just really low quality food. Especially on the buffets but even in the dining rooms. You might have the same appetizer different nights and one night it tastes good and the next time it tastes horrible. The best meals I had were in Le Bistro . 8:30 twice and both times were good. My night at Cagney's was really disappointed. What they call lobster bisque is just tomato soup with a piece of lobster in it. A heavily salted crab cake. My filet was wonderful But not even worth the supplement. To ship itself is very old and either needs to be retired or put in dry dock for a refurb. Paint peeling all over the place, rust, things just not working. Most of the working people, the true crew, were really nice. I had a fantastic cabin steward. He even told me that things had changed a lot in the last year. They are constantly soliciting you trying to get you to book another cruise. They leave you multiple voicemails during your trip. Things that are actually on the daily activity schedule are just things for them to make money on. Other ways to solicit you for another cruise. It's pretty pathetic. I will absolutely never sail NCL again. Those are my experiences.

I just wanted to share that, hopefully for people could just be aware and double check whether or not it's the best ship for them. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!
