My favorite midsize evergreens are the Hinoki Cypress and the Weeping blue atlas ceder.

I like both of those also but they get much taller than 5-6' so I didn't include them in this video 😊

I have been (attempting) removing our horrid over zealous boxwood bushes that were planted when our home was originally built in 2008 and looking for anything to replace them, but since I can’t figure out how to remove their roots without damaging our sewer line I’m at a loss… what can I do?

Hire a professional to remove them?? I personally love boxwood though 😊
