Blessed be the Name of our God! We once was a despiser of this wondrous Name, now the Spirit of our God has made all things new within... And soon shall we meet, O Lord.

I am a teenager who appreciates this form of worship. I really enjoy old hymns and acapella. But I also play drums for our youth praise band. Our praise band also has electric guitar along with an acoustic, bass, and keys. However, that does not retract from providing a powerful WORSHIP experience for whomever is in attendance. I believe that anything used to praise God is not garbage but yet a tool to enhance the experience of worshiping God.

I attend a church of Christ where we sing without instrumental music, and this sounds just like "home." I like to sing alto, and it sounds just lovely shining through as it does in a capella versions! nice!! :-)

I like the appearance of the women, and the singing of the whole choir, real Christian singing, praise the Lord, God bless you, keep up the good work, amen!

Very nice and God honoring! I think kids on the street are LONGING for this kind of God honoring PRAISE of God. (we just think they won't... but they will... why...because it IS God honoring...and God made them... if they are being saved...their soul which God made...will hear and understand. You don't have to be Amish or Mennorite to be saved. We are Baptised into Christ our Saviour... not into a group of people or religion. We are Saved by Christ alone. Good job everyone! :) Much love, Carol

beautiful singing, really lovely, and it is a blessing to hear it as it should be and not drowned out by loud music, but, i do wonder why some of the ladies especially look so worried - not much joy of the LORD which is a shame. perhaps they were just nervous.

The singing is very good. I'm surprised that this hymn singing without the instrument could/would be done in a Methodist meeting place where they always sing with the instrument. Would be interested in knowing how this came to be.

@actionajckson But is selling out the quiet sacred worship that makes traditional worship so reverent worth it to attract more people? Especially since people attracted by worldly means tend to be superficial worshipers anyway. What good is having a church of 5000 if most of its members are'nt truly devoted to God but are there because it "Is cool/entertaining"? Instruments are'nt the problem, you can still give God the glory with instruments, but rather capture the heart not the mind.

Doesn't it say in the bible to make a joyful noise unto the lord. And it goes on to say with the clashes of cymbals?
@34567889412 жыл бұрын
there are still instruments in heaven, also when satan was kicked out from heaven also his musical instruments were sent with him

@ winglessdove. ouch! these songs are powerful and the traditional hym singing is great but its not going to reach out to kids on the streets that well. tink about it.

Isn't the real question whether it is God's law or a man-made law? I know some holy scripture might be left to individual interpretation, while other parts are clearly the way God wants it!

The church congregation is supposed to sing all together. Not a choir. It's in the Bible.

@winglessdove the scriptures is what u use to prove things, not a video.The devil was the minstril in heaven and read psalms 148: and 149: as far as i can see the old testament is still part of the bible.The modern music u call garbage are played on instruments that are all told to worship on in the bible so you are calling that which God said to use,garbage!

@actionajckson I see a debate happening. Here's a thought: you sing praises to the Lord. This is a worship and not a "lets reach out to the kids on the street" entertainment attraction. It is solely to praise, magnify and lift up the name of the Lord. As far as everyone worshiping THEIR "personal" way, take a look at Leviticus 10:1,2 and see how that worked out for them. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp. Psalms 149:3
