Another amazing build Francis. Almost identical to a Geometric vinyl Medusa I built a few years ago. I also scratchbuilt a stepped base but with corroding columns. She really is a joy to behold so thanks to Ray Harryhausen for his genius. Respect mate 👊🏻

Wow awesome, just found this video, huge Ray Harryhausen fan and love what you did with this. So I had to subscribe and on looking through your video’s you have some great stuff, including the aurora kits which I had as a kid. Great work 👏🔥😁👍

Hey Francis , video started and I thought "didn't he do Medusa before ? " then you mentioned you had painted a different version . Too bad about the computer problems , they're great until they crash . Lucky you had the USB back up . The new Medusa looks good , is there any reason why you use wood instead of styrofoam ( the good stuff , not the white pebble kind ) for the base ?

Hi Tom, yeah styrofoam would have been a good idea but the client wanted something tougher to last etc, also I had some extra wood so thought it best to use it up lol.

I have been told these kits where made by a company called Star Ace, I am not sure they still make them. Maybe ebay ?
