Meek is putting a voice on our problems rather than blaming a color... every ones asking for help but don’t know what to ask for because they don’t pay attention or care enough about the common situations / #standwithmeekmill

I must say this is a great friendship, these are two people from different paths in life that connected on a personal level. People would have more friends and better connections if they just took time to know each other. this friendship will elevate MEEKS business career after rap Micheal Rubin is a wonderful person.

It’s because that’s the difference between the rich & poor. In certain lights it’s used for popularity in the rap culture. It shows you’re wealthy & “good” some don’t let it get to that point because it’s just an exterior layer.

Because white people floss different than black people ! instead of a 20,000 dollar chain they’ll buy a 20,000 painting or chandelier etc If You really think he’s just saving all his money and not buying any cars yachts planes watches etc .. then you’re an idiot Black people love bringing up clothes and jewels when they see a rich white Person with nothing on like they don’t spend their money too We been doing jewelry and clothes before slavery times it’s in our DNA

I don’t doubt discrimination in the court and over sentencing. But both Meek and Michael are describing people that are on probation, and they smoke weed, so they break probation and go to jail. If your on probation and you get drug tested, your not allowed to do any drugs. You also can’t continuously be late for your meetings. Probation is forcing you (in a way) to adopt some responsibility. Probation wants you to take a legally forced break from drinking and drugging and to keep your appointments on time and update your officer. It’s almost irrational reasoning. They’re saying these black guys are being sent to jail for just smoking weed or being late for an appointment. The whole point of monitored probation is to not smoke weed or do drugs, so it’s too bad that society views it as “not a big deal.” It’s part of the agreement to stay out of jail. Also, how many times were these people late? I’m sure it wasn’t just one time and then locked up. Eventually, after being late a few times, it looks like a big fuck you to the probation department. I’m not involved with the courts. But, I have been on monitored probation 3 times. And if I went in to a piss test after smoking weed and they caught me, I wouldn’t be complaining that it’s unjust, it’s the rules, the rules might suck, but if you break them you can’t stand around like a child saying “but I didn’t do anything!” If your probation officer tells you not to be late to another meeting, then you make sure your not late, you just make it work. It’s about taking accountability of your life and actions. And by saying it’s the system that’s wrong is not a well thought out argument. It’s not even an argument. It’s faulty reasoning.
