...and if you're in the ghetto; "try" to ignore the gangs trying to kill you or beat you up if you don't join, "try" to ignore the hunger in your belly from not getting enough to eat, "try" to ignore not being able to come up with rent and the constant moving from flat to flat , "try" to ignore the poor qualify of food, air and water that is often present in the parts of cities that governments intentionally underfund. "try" to ignore the constant presence of police harassing you instead of making the streets safe for you, "try" to ignore the inability to get a proper education because for some reason the government doesn't provide adequate funding for schools .... yeah "try again and again". The annoying presence of people with these myopic comments.

This is why you need others to help your own. Everyone ain’t your friend, but more importantly, everyone ain’t your enemy. Partnership is the key. We just have to make sure that the narrative remains constant. When the narrative changes, that’s when it’s over...much respect to the ppl fighting the good fight!

He sounds like Gary v they all talk about the hustle of it all never worried about the money I love how he said “the money is just a report card for how your doing or how you’ve done” that’s a gem.

I'm only at 7:02 but I'm so impressed that M.Rubin is sitting there without a diamond or piece of gold on his body (that I can see) and is worth more than these dudes running around dripping in jewels (collectively)! I admire him and his hustle. He's a natural born business man.

What i find phenomenal about Mike is that he put his neck on the line when he found out the injustice that was happening to Meek, while his ex turned a blind eye on him. Mike is heaven sent. This interview really moved me.

Mike Rubin is such an engaging and polarizing guy that I didn't know even know this interview was an hour long. I can see his business prowess while he was speaking. He went step by step and came back to questions that was asked. Always partner up with like minded people. For example me and my friends get paid to lose weight. Other people thought we were crazy when we first started out but not so much now. Keep the hustle going guys.

Wonderful interview. 1. Why people should stop talking about people of color and start talking about people of value. 2. This shows how little power celebrities have. Don't confuse fame with power. 3. Money helps. Learning to invest isn't just about cars, it's about lawyers. 4. Fame is a source of power, not just income. 5. Individual people have power. Don't underestimate what an individual can do. Thanks Breakfast Club.

And for the people that’s going to say well he did have the gun so he was still wrong NO having a gun back then in philly was a misdemeanor charge and probably would been thrown out but pointing a gun at a police officer makes its a violent crime and serious felony charge
