Dereck Henson no LeBron could actually make a jumper coming into the league. Sure it was streaky, but he had the capability to actually make a long 2 or 3 pointer. He was also a much better finisher. Simmons is 7 feet tall and he was missing layups. Simmons can't make anything outside the paint, and his jumper looks ugly. LeBron had to merely tweak his, a lot of former players like Earl Watson, Stephen Jackson, Carlos Boozer and Paul Pierce say that Simmons needs to start from scratch. As for LeBrons first finals. No one on the the Celtics roster even comes close to the defensive greatness of Bruce Bowen and Timmy D. Hell the Spurs retired Bowens jersey simply because of his defense. That, combined with the fact that his supporting cast was utter dogshit is why LeBron struggled
