My current favourite pastime is chasing down every single Cole Wehrle interview I can find, and this one was a great find. I’ll definitely stay around and check out more of your content.

Great interview! I've seen just about every Cole Wehrle interview on KZbin and you managed to touch on many things that I've never heard him speak about before so good job! The business side of Cole's involvement in his games is super interesting to me.

Great interview! Learning about the business side of things was really interesting. The Leder Games business model makes me want to support the company even more.

root still not started, little bit fear of it... usually I teach the rest, and if asymetric, will need to play for every fraction. I saw very nice reviews, but also some never want to play it. But pax pamir 2nd ed is ingeniuos.. So I hope will start with root.

Root is one of the most mindblowing gaming experience of my last 3 years. It's a must-try for sure. It will not be for everyone though. I was amazed by the asymetry. One can wonder if players are actually playing the same game.

Very true Elie. As he mentioned in the interview, its' genesis comes from the C.O.I.N games which are very heavy "war" games. It truly is a unique experience.

@@MeeplevilleBoardGameCafe I come from a wargaming background. 25 years ago it was the only way to have a some "meat" in a boardgame. But with so many quality eurogames coming in the 2000s. I came to play less "confrontational" boardgames. But I really enjoy them at times. You and Cole really got me intrigued into the COIN serie. I will see if I can try one of them in the near future. Thanks for the heads up.
