The single best reason I've heard of to have a child. To love and be loved. She's a beautiful, profoundly self aware person. I hope she finds a way to live a happy, dignified life.

Claressa didn't look like she was okay with this documentary, but that's life and you can't hide everything. My family and I had to leave a war-torn country for a better place so this documentary hits me real hard. 😩

Damn, lil sis got some nice thighs and hips going on, so she had my attention for a number of reasons. That being said, I'd think having a baby for the reasons she mentioned, weren't best for her baby or her. I think her wording means she may do better if she had a decent other to take on this world, or just Flint. Not sure what her hustle is, but based on what was shown, she's headed for even more tough times. I'd watched this video once before, and it stayed in the back of my mind, so I wanted to post this opinion. I lived in Detroit decades ago, and it still had some hope, but clearly something is changing there. It has to, cause Michigan has worth, and the mostly whites see it. Flint's water poisoning may actually have been planned, so that many of the poor blacks would either die or leave. Thing is, it costs to move, and many may have stayed long past any funds needs to leave. Claressa is dying a slow death, and her thinking 'poor' has lead her to take her child along for the ride. Maybe this is mother nature just doing what is needed to balance earth. Poor blacks today, other racial poor tomorrow, then all people left. Its in our nature to live in a way that will kill us.

Your skin is so black it shines it's like black gold I love it ,you are a beautiful woman , just give your hearth to Jesus Christ, start reading the bible every day , and God will begin to talk to your heart and show you your path and your way in life, he did it for me , when I started reading the bible every thing started to change for the good.
