They were fellow colleagues and didn’t have to but they did, other colleagues commiserated but went home without helping me. My personal opinion is that most Muslims that I have met and worked with are decent, hardworking, and caring people. I have also met some radical islamists and they are quite the opposite, they are angry, intolerant and aggressive and believe they are superior to all others. I have no problem with Islam, each to their own, but I do have a serious problem with radical Islam and Sharia law within this country. In general, the British people are some of the most tolerant and welcoming people in the world and it is no surprise given we have every type of person living here, and have had for a very very long time. It's good that Abdullah did what he did, and I think I speak for millions when I say 'good work, sir!'. He did what any decent man should do: protect the weak, the vulnerable and those unfairly treated. Unfortunately I think the British people, and that includes non-Anglo Saxons, are fed up of the double standards they've endured for a long time, their political correctness has been taken advantage of for too long.
