Those are called Black Soldier Flies. I use them for enrichment for my lizards and they are full of protein :)

Hey man, not trying to pry into what you might consider personal but I have a number of different reptiles/lights ect and was wondering, what's your average electrical bill and in what area?

I always young fed young savannah me monitors until they calm down then they become little sweethearts. My first savannah I got in 1989 and he lived for seven years but I fed mostly rodents which I believe led to him becoming obese and an early death. Now I feed only insects to my savannahs

Always thought monitors had to have high levels of uvb 🤷🏼♂️
@tomsarc4 ай бұрын
@@jakedixon5746 that’s why I use the ZooMed Powersun 100watt or 160watt bulbs. They give off heat and uvb. When I finish the outdoor enclosures they’ll get all the natural UV they need

Great vid bro!! Subscribed💯💯often times with young savannah monitors the head shape can be telling of the sex. Females have smaller, more blunt heads. You got an Instagram?
