Seats with wings around the head area, set lower down would be a better option, but a pain on the road visibility wise. You can still get a huge concussion/die even with the foam, it’s designed to reduce the deceleration of your dome in conjunction with wearing a helmet so it’s pretty hard. Ideally you only wanna run a half cage/door bar to the front wheel wells/dash brace kind of cage a car if you’re gonna drive a car without a helmet.

This car has possibly had £30k put into it. Turbo conversions, Garret turbocharger, fully built engine, LSD, roll cage, complete new fueling system, intercooler, big brakes, semi slicks. All expensive stuff.
