You should start by going to a local live sound and recording school. Full Sail is a decent one if they are close to you. And obviously a local band to work with

Maybe this guy really has to tell a lot of interesting sounding stuff, but his sound sucks. Been on two shows, got disappointed twice... simply overdone his job in my opinion

Redundancy with A+B engines on SD7. You want redundancy on a stadium show.

I have a question I'm hoping you can help me with. I play in a small blues band and also own the PA. Keep in mind please that i'm working on a small budget. I have been running a system using just one Subwoofer. I'm about to add a second subwoofer on a deal I found. The sub in this deal is built the same as my current sub. Front loaded 15" ..Ported the same too but a little more powerful. Will it be a bad thing that they are not the same brand?

Best scenario use matching subs.

Maybe a bit late but yeah try to use matching PA otherwise most PA that is in bars will most likely be better. I also suggest when using two subs instead of doing Left and right sub, stack them in the middle or place them next to each other you will gain up to +6db because of coupling.
