Life has been super busy since the 1st of the year. On 1/1/17 we brought home Gracie, our 9-week-old Yorkie pup. She's a lot of fun, but with potty training and crate training, she's definitely a handful.

Cute! Congratulations! Our newest furbaby just turned a year old, she's a beautiful black Labradoodle ❤️ She weighs about 70 pounds, we named her Daisy, but changed it to Daze because, well, she's a little cray cray and leaves us in a Daze most of the time. Lol. But, she's settling down and is the sweetest dog ever. Well, besides my other two. A Bichon/Maltese and a Lahsa/Bichon. We adore our babies too. They are so much fun!!

She's so adorable!!!! We used to have to run our Yorkie Sammi at midnight just to get her to settle down. She was such a menace till about 6 months old. She is now 5 years old and the joy of my life, (I dont tell my husband this, he will get jealous!!). Good luck with Gracie!

Thanks! Gracie is 6 months old now and she's a pro at not pottying where she's supposed to and ignoring my commands rather than listening, but I hear that's the "teenager phase" and it will hopefully go away in a few months. Did you have a hard time potty training Sammi?

I was so lucky with her!! She only has had 2 accidents in the house, one when she was a baby and the other one when she was sick. Yorkies are notoriously hard to potty train. Sammi was so easy to potty train! I got very lucky because I read Yorkies are very hard to potty train. She is my first Yorkie, I always had poodles growing up. She is such a joy. I hope you have many wonderful years with Gracie!!

I have a 2 1/2 month upload male Yorkie pup. He is on Hills Science diet puppy food. He pees and poo’s on his pads like a champ. He has been with us for 2.5 weeks. When he first came he slept through the night, not so much now. We take him out 2-3 times a day and let him run and run. He is limited to my bedroom as we have 2 other Yorkies. Our rescue is a silky. Teddy hates the pup and would kill him if we weren’t very careful with Littleman. He was badly abused😢 and it’s been very difficult trying to work with him. Anyway Littleman went to the vet Monday he weighed 3 pounds is healthy except his ears were moist. We are giving him ear drops once a day. I’ll truly be happy when he is done growing and chewing. Mine looks just like Gracie.

We have a new Yorkie and bought the pee pads paper ones and block off area in kitchen limit her travel area and she has been going only on them . Also bought a big pen and put her in at night with pee pads sleeps in bed and pees on pads ..she is doing great ..limit area till she only goes so far and is used to where her pads are ..

She’s on the tiny side of “regular” Yorkie. Not teacup. She weighed 2.5lbs when we brought her home. She’s a little under 6 now, and fully grown.

Have a LOT of patience, especially about potty training. They're not so good at it. The are wicked smart though, so make sure you start training asap! We took several classes just at the local PetCo and she did really well.

You are giving her too much free space during potty training. Please see a couple of videos about training a Yorkie. She is a doll!!!! I had my tiny male Yorkie completely pad trained in 3 weeks. Just hoping to help.

My pup always eats when she plays. Like drops everything in the middle of fetch. It's almost like her tank blinks "empty" and she has to refuel RIGHT NOW. Then after a few bites it's back to play time.

Trust me, puppy has learned how i need to pick her up because of my disability, and a year and a half later, she’s just fine
