Blue's Clues creator, Angela Santomero, sits down with Donovan Patton to discuss the audition process, his experience with both Blue's Clues and Blue's Big City Adventure, and of course, Donovan's Christopher Walken impression.

Angela C. Santomero, Creator & Executive Producer of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Blue's Clues, Wishenpoof, Creative Galaxy & Super Why has been changing the way children watch TV for more than twenty years. She is the Creator, Executive Producer and Writer for award winning kids and family content for PBS, Nickelodeon, Amazon Studios, etc.
With a Masters in Child Developmental Psychology from Columbia University (TC), Angela's vision for integrating educational curriculum into entertaining content for kids led her to co-create, executive produce and head write Nick Jr.'s landmark series, Blue’s Clues. Malcolm Gladwell referred to Blue’s Clues as "One of the stickiest TV shows EVER made”, in The Tipping Point.
Angela is the recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award for Outstanding Childrenʹs Programming as well as several gold and silver Parents’ Choice Awards.

Steve Burns was such a great host that finding a replacement host sounds very hard. However, you did a great job of finding a second host. Donovan Patton did an amazing job as Joe. He's kind, humble and a lot of fun to watch.

Joe was always my favourite host growing up on Blues Clues (No hate towards Steve or Josh, I freaking love both of them too), but even though I watched Steve more growing up, Blues Room made more of a impact on me than Blues Clues, so I have so many "Out of Context" quotes that just randomly play in my head, (Joe was the best wolf, hands down) But I do have a question, (Idk if you would have an answer for it) But towards the end of when Blues Clues and Blues Room, I seen the Logo for some of the books and toys feel almost swapped, (Like some Blues Room books/toys have the Blues Clues logo and vice versa), or Mattel not having the official name for the toys and just listing many as just "Blues Room", I was wonder if there is a easier way to learn what kind of merchandise was released for Blues Room? (Excluding DVDs as I recently finished the collection haha)
